I took a journey for a few days to visit friends I hadn't seen a roughly a year. The drive to Sacramento was pretty good even though there was lite showers until late in the evening the skies opened up with heavy rain. Luckily the Wyndham Garden hotel had a bar with a decent menu for my friends and I to enjoy margaritas while munching on appetizers until the storm pass through.
It was still raining the next morning so we decided to visit the local Crocker Art Museum in downtown Sacramento. Pulling up to the museum I couldn't help but notice the original Victorian Italianate style house turned museum. Visually its a view into the past that show how the wealthy lived during that era.
Entering the museum I was prepared to take in the sites of some very nice art pieces. There's 3 floors of exhibits along with some modern interactive pieces that are eye catching and fun. Definitely a good find to enjoy when visiting Sacramento.
